Only thing that's been changed recently is that now when joining #Zebeth through the Java client. you must change your nick to something else or we won't hear you.
So when you join type in /nick <new nick>  and change it to something else. then you can chat once more.

If you attempt to chat when you have a Minion name then you will receive this message 
#zebeth You are banned (#zebeth)
So make sure you change your nick :P

Rules

These rules are subject to change and were last changed on 16/02/2006

• No flaming, spamming, impersonating people, giving out personal info, talking about illegal material (roms, warez, etc), revealing Planet Zebeth secrets, or just plain acting stupid. The definition of stupid is up to the discretion of any of the operators there.
• No cybering, offensive, or racist material. These will get you banned immediately, reported to Kabutroid, and potentially ip-banned from the entire server if the problem is severe enough.

Do.
    Chat in a friendly manner
    Abide by the rules

Don't
    Ask to be channel Op (we'll ask you)
    Ask for a ban to be placed on someone.
    Ask for any channel modes to be changed, set etc.
