All of the images in the "2005 and earlier" section were taken with a low quality webcam, which both created very poor quality and very large filesize to go with it. Everything from 2006 and newer were taken with a digital camera purchased shortly before that time. They're better quality, but said quality was decreased, as was the image size, to make for a faster load time, use less bandwidth, and use less space. For being on average around 10-15kb in size, they're quite good quality compared to the average 60-80kb webcam images. As well, a number of images were lost, either from before the first kabucam archive was created, or between when it crashed and was moved here. That was 'mid-2003 and earlier' and from 'late 2005 to early 2006'. Where possible, all images were sorted by date (newest at the top-left). You can assume this was impossible however with most of "2005 and earlier".
